TELECOMMUNICATIONS


Out of all the mobile telephony service providers in Ghana, MTN and Vodafone have the strongest telephone reception in the Park. Airtel, Glo and Tigo have minimal reception and can only be accessed in specific areas of the Park. The Information Centre in the Park sells some top-up credit for mobile phones.
If they do run out, however, visitors could take a visit to the staff quarters, (about 5 minutes’ walk from the Information Centre) to purchase telephone credit. Modems, MiFi and other mobile phone accessories are available in Tamale.
