WHERE AND WHAT TO EAT

Mole Motel
The restaurant at Mole Motel operates 16 hours daily (6 am to 10 pm), offering a variety of dishes (local, ethnic and continental dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner). The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, and buffets are organised from time to time. The bar is stocked with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including liquor, beer, wine and soft drinks.

Canteen in the Park
For low cost, no-frills meals and drinks, there is an open air canteen a few metres away from the Information Centre at Mole National Park. The canteen serves dishes such as:

• Plain rice with stew
• Rice balls with groundnut soup
• Waakye (rice and beans with sauce)
• Macaroni with stew
• Fufu (dumplings of pounded yam, served with light soup or groundnut soup)
• Banku (dumplings of corn, served with groundnut soup or okro stew)
• Fried yam with pepper sauce
• Sliced cooked yam with beans
All dishes come with beef, chicken or fish. The average cost per plate is GHS 10.00.

• Fruit juice
• Beer
• Wine.
