Historical and Archaeological Tour

A major pre-19th century slave trading route passes through the Park, linking Damongo to the south of the Park, with the interior areas to the north. The route generally follows the Konkori escarpment. The Gbanwele caves in the centre of the Park also have archaeological and historic importance. Archaeological tours may stand alone or be part of a larger tour. You may want to organise a tour at the Information Centre, where necessary support will be given.
